Emily & Wes | Wedding Day | Market Hall | November 11, 2023
This is our LAST wedding of 2023, ya’ll!!! We picked a PERFECT wedding day to end our 2023 year with, and I can’t wait for ya’ll to see all these photos!!! 🙂
We started off the day with the ladies getting all glammed up, wearing cute blue patterned pjs, and enjoying hanging out in the bridal suite! I had the BEST time styling Emily’s details (that invitation suite was gorgeous!) and Wes even had a black Brackish bowtie & monogramed cufflinks for me to style! I was so spoiled with so many flowers to use and so many pretty things to photograph!!!
Emily was absolute VISION, her hair and makeup were perfection. I love her getting ready photos – and her TWO robe looks. Emily’s mom surprised her with a second robe made from her own wedding dress, which was so sweet and special! Once Emily was dressed, she had a First Look with all her girls, then with her precious Dad, and then lastly with Wes!!! We all hopped on the Raleigh Trolley to go take photos!
It was an overcast day that had been calling for rain all week. We got little rain sprinkles, but thanks to ALOT of prayer (including my mom praying all day for us!) the rain held off, and we were able to take all outdoor photos! I am OBSESSED with their Bride & Groom portraits, they look straight out of Europe with the architecture!!! Emily & Wes were so organized and timely, that on the wedding day it allowed them to be super chill, decisive, and enjoy the day. I was AMAZED that with a 21-person bridal party they were able to be so timely & not feel rushed. We next went to a park with beautiful fall colors to photograph ALL the rest of their portraits with their fun bridal party. It was so pretty and bonus – we finished 30 minutes EARLY with photos – wooohooo! 🙂
The ceremony was beautiful, with flowers lining the aisles, and a whimsical deconstructed arch at the front! Since they had photographed ALL their photos before the ceremony, Emily and Wes were able to join the entire cocktail hour with their guests! It was so nice to see them mingle and enjoy talking with all their friends and family!
The reception kicked off with a delicious dinner, cake, lots of drinks, dancing with the band, dance floor lighted props, late night snacks, a face painter on site to paint glitter tattoos (how freaking cool is that??) and Emily had an epic outfit change! Can we have a MOMENT for dress #2?! LOVE.
We snuck outside for a few photos on the cobblestones, and before we knew it – it was time for their exit! Their guests sent them off with a sparkler exit, out to an antique convertible car! It was so beautiful. What a PERFECT wedding day to end our season – I can’t WAIT for ya’ll to see all my favorites on the blog below. ENJOY!!!
