Emily & Brandon = Melrose Knitting Mill Wedding!

This is special… because it’s our LAST wedding of 2024, ya’ll! Brandon and Phillip grew up going to church together, so when he & Emily reached out about photographing their wedding, we were so honored! Even more excited that it would be our LAST wedding to finish out our 11th year of weddings! Wooohooo what an honor! 🙂

We had a beautiful November day for a wedding! It wasn’t too chilly, had sunshine all day (even though it forecasted clouds!) and the wind came in gusts so we could work around it! It was such a pretty day in Raleigh, with all the leaves changing colors and the sun beaming through the trees.

The day started off with glam and detail photos at the Airbnb! Emily’s MOH, Allie, was SO HELPFUL and the most prepared bridesmaid EVER. She even bought a backup BRIDESMAIDS DRESS just in case someone would need it! Wow!! Since we didn’t photograph a Bridal Session for Emily, I was so excited to finally see her wedding dress, and it didn’t disappoint! It was SO STUNNING – I just loved the sleeves so much!!

Brandon and Emily had a First Look, and then we went straight into photos! The sunshine was just perfection & the photos were just dreamy!!! We then got to photograph more portraits of them at Melrose (their reception venue) and Emily & Brandon got to enjoy seeing their reception before all the guests arrived!

The ceremony was at Emily’s home church – one that means a lot to both of them! She had a First Look with her dad before he walked her down the aisle & it was so sweet! The ceremony was beautiful – and they went straight out the front steps for a flower petal exit that was so fun!! They went to a first reception at the church – and then headed to their second reception at Melrose!!

The reception kicked off with cocktail hour (including TACOS!), and then dinner, drinks, and dancing! It was a sweet night of seeing so many families & kids dancing together & enjoying the night!

Their night ended with a private last dance, and a tunnel of sparklers out to their getaway car! It was a beautiful way to end such a great day!  I can’t wait for ya’ll to see the LAST wedding sneak peek of 2024 below! ENJOY!!! 🙂
