Bridal Portrait Session | Casey | September 10th, 2016
We’d been planning this session for 9 months, and looking forward to an awesome session. Phillip and I arrived at the location, and starting scouting – and then got a text from Casey saying that things (out of her control) were causing them run a solid 30-minutes behind. When she arrived, we started shooting right away. Casey could’ve easily let the frustration of timing totally RUIN the session…but she shook it off and ended up ROCKING THIS SESSION!!!!
We were blessed with some of the most GORGEOUS light I’ve ever shot in. I kept on gushing about how “glowy the light is” and probably looked like a crazy person. We were halfway through the session when we went to the beach – and Casey TURNED IT ON with the modeling. The wind was just enough to blow her veil, and Casey embraced it and we got some of the most BEAUTIFUL images I’ve EVER shot!!!
Casey herself looked breathtaking. A former college teammate styled Casey’s hair with the prettiest updo, and I loved all the VOLUME!!! Her dress had a long train, and the buttons were both satin buttons and crystal ones! The bodice was so detailed with crystals and a flower pattern. Casey laughed and said all the manicures, makeup, and veil wasn’t “her” – because as a former athlete she’s used to being in t-shirts.
We LOVED this session, and hope you enjoy this sunny beach Sneak Peek too!!
