I don’t think Caroline & Daniel stopped smiling ALL. DAY. LONG. Caroline was literally BEAMING and laughing with joy during her ENTIRE wedding day, and it made our 12-hour workday (and all my hours of editing) sooooo much happier looking at her just radiating JOY!!!!  🙂

We had the most beautiful sunny day (especially since last weekend was a hurricane in NC!) for Caroline and Daniel’s wedding. They planned a classic, yet modern design with lots of black/white/blue touches! I especially loved how unique their florals were, with so much texture and visual interest in each piece! (Thank you, Mood Fleuriste!)

Caroline & all her ladies were busy getting glammed up all morning by Reign Beauty. They were wearing cute jewel-toned PJs (picked out by Daniel!) and the moms were wearing black satin PJs! Caroline’s bridesmaids were so sweet, and her MOH Blair was SO helpful to me!!!! Caroline’s mom was absolutely STUNNING (I mean are they not twins?!) and I fell in love with her!!! We had the best time seeing Caroline open her gifts, get into her dress, and have all her First Looks! She had an impromptu First Look with her cute flower girls, one with her Dad, Stepdad, and then finally one with Daniel!

I absolutely LOVE Daniel’s getting ready & groom portraits! He modeled like a PRO, and since style is his “thing”, I was not surprised at all to see him looking dapper and totally unique than his groomsmen. (I especially loved his shoes!) He was SO excited to see Caroline for their First Look, and was just BEAMING from ear to ear! When they saw each other, Daniel totally approved of Caroline’s bridal look (whew, sigh of relief since he’s the fashion critique!) and they looked INCREDIBLE together doing their Bride & Groom portraits! We had so much fun shooting them!

They had a beautiful ceremony, and after Family Portraits Caroline & Daniel dug up their bourbon & joined cocktail hour! Their reception kicked off with lots of dancing, delicious food by Funky Fresh (they are THE BEST!!!!), Krispy Kreme doughnuts (YUM), lots of drinks, speeches, and just a lot of FUN! One of my favorite parts of the reception was towards the end – I was upstairs switching out camera batteries, and all of a sudden Caroline & Daniel walked up the steps hand-in-hand, and just wanted to look over the balcony and soak in the sight of all their guests having fun together! It was just the cutest thing to see.

Their epic party ended with a Private Last Dance, then a sparker exit out to an antique FIRE TRUCK!!! Daniel is a volunteer fireman, so having that as their getaway “car” was just PERFECT! (Thanks for all your help, Ben!) those photos are some of my favorites because of how happy they are!
