Waters Edge at Tart Farms | Caroline & Colby | Wedding Day | February 20, 2021
I’d say our FIRST wedding of 2021 started off in an awesome way! We had the first sunny day in WEEKS, and were so excited to kick off our season with such a sweet couple. Caroline and Colby met just 13 months ago, fell in love fast, and planned this entire wedding during a pandemic! Their story is close to our hearts, because we met and got married within 11 months!!! 🙂

The girls were getting glammed and sipping champagne all morning, and Caroline was so cute saying she could hardly believe SHE was the bride this time rather than getting ready to be a bridesmaid! We had a fun champagne pop to start the festivities (and the wind totally sprayed the champagne ON all the girls instead, hahaha!) and Phillip was hanging out with Colby and his groomsmen talking all things GOLF!
Caroline had me photograph a worn red journal, and told me that she began writing letters to her future husband way back in 2012! Almost a DECADE of writing to Colby, before they even knew each other! I thought it was such a sweet and sentimental gift to give him!!! Colby’s gold wedding band we photographed is extra special, because it’s made from the gold in both his grandfather’s wedding bands! I loved hearing the significance behind it!!!
Caroline and Colby had a beautiful (but windy!!) outdoor ceremony, with her dad even singing while they had communion! It was a special moment. They also chose Salty Girl Designs (Brooke Lupton) to live paint their ceremony! It was beautiful, and Brooke is SO talented!!! Afterwards, we had the prettiest winter sunshine for all their portraits, which helped to warm us up a little! The wind was seriously FEROCIOUS all day (I’m talking 15-20mph winds!) and there were no trees to help block it on the grounds… So the entire bridal party were AMAZING sports to deal with the wind and the cold with smiles on their faces! 🙂
The reception kicked off with delicious meal and then All Events DJ (they are so fun!) getting everyone onto the dance floor! Colby and Caroline treated their guests to an amazingly fun night full of food, drinks, cake, and lots of dancing!!! They ended the evening with a sparkler tunnel and being whisked off to ANTIGUA!
I hope you’ll LOVE seeing some of my FAVORITE photos from Caroline and Colby’s absolutely beautiful wedding day below!!!! ENJOY!!!!
