Our FIRST wedding of 2022 set the bar high, yall! A fun + sweet couple, sunshine, a smooth timeline day, great vendors & bridal party – Camryn & Colin’s day was just AMAZING!!!! 🙂

We kicked off the day with photographing all the details & girls getting ready at an Airbnb in Raleigh! The girls were all in comfy matching sweats – and Camryn was so fun in her little crop top! The house was a BUZZ with hair & makeup going on, people eating/talking and hanging out. Such a fun atmosphere! 🙂

It was extra special photographing Camryn’s details because she chose ME to design her invitation suite & bridal luncheon invite! So not only did I get to design it, but also style + photograph! So fun!!! I was also blown away when I realized that Colin gifted Camryn TWO wedding bands – and I loved how unusual the thicker band is! Such a beautiful set all together.

Phillip met the guys at NC State – since Colin is a State grad, as are several of his groomsmen! (Be sure to recognize Shane in the photos – a TLJ Groom from 2020! Something really cool happened while the guys were on campus taking photos – they were allowed to open the door to the belltower and GO INSIDE!!!! Pretty special experience!

Thanks to the Great Raleigh Trolley, we all headed downtown Raleigh to photograph ALL their photos pre-ceremony! With wintertime weddings, the sun sets so early that we recommend having First Looks. Because of that – Camryn & Colin were able to have a TON of Bride/Groom portraits in several different locations.

I need to brag on Colin and Camryn for a second. They were absolute TROOPERS ya’ll… because when I say it was A SUPER COLD DAY – the wind gusts were SO bad that the day felt even colder than the 30º that it was outside. Camryn was shivering, but did amazing in that dress. We passed around handwarmers, and everyone had a great attitude about it! 🙂

The ceremony was so special, officiated by one of their groomsmen’s moms! One of my favorite parts was Colin & Camryn giving their parents a rose to honor them in the middle of the ceremony. The groomsmen all walked into the ceremony to NC State’s fight song – which was hilarious.

The venue was flipped into reception in just minutes! I was SO IMPRESSED with the team of vendors who transformed the space sooooo fast! The highlights of the reception were not only the incredible florals that added such a romantic feel to all the brick – but the DONUT WALL!!! Colin’s dad made the donut wall and sign all by himself, and it was incredible! I loved the lighted donut on the sign – so fun!!!!

Camryn & Colin treated their guests to an amazing meal, cake (with their pup Scout featured on it!) Duck Donuts, specialty drinks, dancing with lighted glow sticks – and sweet toasts. My favorite part of the reception was when Colin’s dad surprised them with a video of their pup Scout on a TV – with a hilarious message “from Scout” on it. So so so cute!!!!!! We totally expected a PARTY with this crowd – and we were NOT disappointed! They all had a blast on the dance floor all night long – including Camryn in her new Gucci sneakers!!!

We had a WONDERFUL wedding to kick off our 2022 wedding season! I have sooooo many favorites from Camryn & Colin’s beautiful day – and I hope you ENJOY seeing all the photos!!!!
