Behind the Scenes 2022 Blog!!! 🙂 

Here’s the blog post we make at the end of every year – with the most unflattering photos of us EVER – our “Behind the Scenes” photos, haha! 🙂

Being a photographer is more than just taking pretty photos – it’s long 15-hour wedding days full of decision-making and behind-the-scenes stressful moments that our couples will never see. This job requires a lot of hours away from our families on weekends, and not getting a single day off for months at a time. What makes this tough job worth it are the incredible TLJ Couples in our lives, who are some of the kindest, most thoughtful, and incredible people on the planet! We literally would NOT do this job if our couples weren’t the amazing people they are!!!!!

Our TLJ Couples are the first to support us, write encouraging notes/emails/DMs, recommend us to their friends, choose us years later to photograph their babies, and are in our lives for years to come! (Note the photo of us with our couple Natalie & Zack from 7 years ago, with their friends Jamie & Ronnie who we just photographed in October!!! How cool is that?!) 🙂

(We also convinced our friends/TLJ Couple Stephen and Crystal to adopt Cooper’s brother, (Huxley) so now they will be forever friends!)

Phillip and I can’t forget to mention the incredible wedding vendor friends we’ve met over the years and LOVE working with! You all make wedding days so much easier & more fun by being YOU!!!

Thank you all for all the love and encouragement in 2022! Even reading our blog posts means the WORLD to me!!!! Thank you, thank you!!!!!! 🙂
