Becca & Jacob = Garden Maternity Session!

It’s really rare that I’ll blog a Maternity Session, but when the location is THIS spectacular, the outfits are THAT gorgeous, and our couple is one of our FAVORITES – I put in the extra time to share the photos with ya’ll!!! 🙂

Becca and Jacob reached out to us about photographing their wedding way back in 2018! Since that day, we’ve photographed their Engagement Session (click here) Becca’s stunning Bridal Session (click here) their Oakland Farm wedding day (click here) AND ALSO photographed Becca’s identical twin sister Meredith’s Engagement Session (click here) her Bridal Session (click here) Meredith & William’s wedding day (click here) and then last week had the honor of photographing Becca & Jacob’s Maternity Session!!!! Wow!!! I told ya’ll this is a special family to us!!!!

I’ll never forget the day when we met Becca, Meredith, and their sweet mom, Kim, over coffees at Dunkin Donuts back in 2018. I remember asking Becca about her career after graduating from App State – and she said that she worked for a family concrete business currently, but her DREAM was to one day own a clothing boutique. Yall… not only did this amazing woman make this dream happen in LESS than 2 years since that conversation, but she also opened her boutique, With Love (in Sanford NC and @shopwithloveboutique_ on Instagram) DURING THE PANDEMIC while being a newlywed and then while being pregnant! Becca is literally SUPERWOMAN! We are so so so proud of her! Also, a fun little side note – Becca hires MY sister, Kristy, to model for her clothing boutique! So that’s my sister all over her instagram! 🙂

We had the best afternoon with these two walking around the gardens. Not going to lie…. I was really thrown for a loop when we arrived and the gardens were SO full of people that both parking lots were full, and the overflow parking lot was in full force! It made taking pictures a lot more strategic, but thankfully Jacob and Rebecca were so patient with working around all the other tourists, and understanding when we had to re-work shots to hide the massive amount of people. I had also scheduled our session around the forecast of having a cloudy day – and then we were dealt with everything from full sun, slightly overcast, and then partly sunny. It was seriously wild haha. But we made the best of it, and made MAGIC!!!! 🙂

Jacob is HILARIOUS with his dry humor, and kept us laughing. Becca is literally the sweetest person you’ll ever meet. She arrived with a beautiful dress FOR ME from her With Love boutique at their session, and I was blown away with her generosity. We were just so grateful to photograph this special time in their lives!!!

We can’t wait to meet you, little Cooper Martin! You are so loved already, and you’ll have the BEST parents!!!! I can’t wait for ya’ll to see all my favorites from Becca & Jacob’s beautiful Maternity Session below. ENJOY!
