Ashley Blackwell = Bridal Portraits!

For a sports fan, just being inside one of the most prestigious college basketball gyms is the ULTIMATE dream. Having your Bridal Portraits photographed inside that gym is even MORE special! When Ashley told me months ago she wanted to shoot inside Cameron Indoor, I was pumped!! As a college basketball coach’s daughter, I wondered why I didn’t think of that for myself!

When we walked onto that floor, it was a pinch-me moment! Ashley had the entire gym to herself for Bridals, and we felt like celebrities! She took full advantage of her time inside, and even shot a basket, and sat right in center court.

The afternoon was hot, sticky, and humid. Ashley was a trooper as we walked all across campus, as she was wearing several thick layers of tulle. Thankfully she had cute tennis shoes on: blush-pink sparkly Kate Spade keds. SO CUTE.

Ashley put so much thought into her wedding attire. Her veil is pieces of her mom’s beautiful veil, and even the back of Ashley’s dress has lace pieces from her mother’s wedding dress. Also, In her bouquet she has a locket with her Grandfather’s photo in it.

We had such a fun afternoon shooting somewhere completely different – and totally down my alley. Now, I have the travel bug and want to visit Europe! In the meantime, enjoy these portraits of this beautiful girl!
