Amy + Seth = Engagement Session!

Amy is a SISTER of one of our former brides, Melody Speight Raper, so it was SO special when she and Seth booked us to photograph their wedding. (Melody has also been a part of MY wedding AND my sister’s wedding, by doing our hair for bridals and wedding days!)

Amy and I knew each other from 15+ years ago homeschooling together. She has always been one of the sweetest girls, with a huge heart for people and children, and always has a smile on her face.

We met Seth at Melody & Colby’s wedding a few years ago, and since then he proposed to Amy, started the process of getting a house for them, and now they’re less than 4 months away from their OWN wedding day!

Phillip and I really enjoyed getting to know Seth for the first time during our session. We photographed their Engagement Session at Johnson Farms AND Jordan’s Chapel Vol. Fire Department, both of which Seth works at! As if he’s not busy enough, he also has a lawn service business.

I love how Seth works so hard to provide for Amy. He’s extremely knowledgeable about the Farm, and we enjoyed hearing about all the machinery and what it’s like to work there. Amy fully supports all of Seth’s endeavors, and it’s so cute to see her as a farmer’s fiancée.

We had a pleasant night to shoot, not hot at all!!! It was kind of dark and overcast, but it gave us wind that was perfect for Amy’s flowy lace dress!! I loved the motion it created with her dress and hair!!
