What’s better than photographing at a new-to-us venue? One that’s only 30 minutes from home!!! We were looking forward to Amanda & Daniel’s wedding day SO much, because after working with them the last year, we knew how laid-back their day would be & how fun it would be! They went into their wedding day with the mindset to just enjoy it all – without packing too much “stuff” into their day so they could be present! 🙂

We started off the day photographing all of their details, which was fun since I had the honor of designing their invitation suite! Amanda’s favorite color is “peacock teal” so I incorporated that color into the details as a fun pop! The girls were relaxing upstairs getting glam – hilariously carrying around a miniature stuffed “doll” of Daniel! They called him “Little Daniel” and it was so funny to find him different places throughout the day, haha! 🙂

True to character, Amanda was such a wonderful “go-with-the-flow” bride – so even in the cold + really tough wind gusts throughout the day, she and Daniel were both understanding & good-natured dealing with everything! What a DREAMMMM! The ceremony was extra special, because Amanda surprised her “second dad” (her dad’s best friend & a very important man in Amanda’s life) with being introduced and helping to give her away at the end of the aisle. It was so sweet seeing everyone wiping away tears!

Their reception kicked off after portraits – and Daniel & Amanda spoiled their guests with lots of food, mini cupcakes, a photobooth, live watercolor portraits of guests being painted by The Studio Tails (Emily Duncan), dancing thanks to Impultz Entertainment – and an evening of sweet speeches. It was so special to hear their closest friends & family members talk about how thankful they are that Daniel & Amanda have found each other!

It was such a wonderful day – and it was an honor to capture it for this sweet couple & their families! I can’t wait for ya’ll to see all my favorite photos from their beautiful day below! Enjoy!!!
