Farm Wedding Day | Allison & Andy | November 7, 2020
There’s nothing like having an Engagement Session just THREE DAYS before Allison & Andy’s wedding that got us SO EXCITED for their big day! (If you missed seeing their beautiful Engagement Session, CLICK HERE! Also, if you missed Allison’s GORGEOUS Rose Hill Bridal Session, you don’t want to miss seeing it HERE!!!)
Andy and Allison couldn’t have asked for a more PERFECT November wedding day! It was warm, the sun was shining, and the leaves were still on the trees. Talk about BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Allison and her ladies spent the night together, and got up super early to start glamming! Allison did her OWN makeup again which is so impressive to me!!! The entire time I was photographing details, Allison’s flower girl, Avery, was “helping” me, asking questions, and keeping Phillip and I company. It was so cute and fun to have a helper!!!
Andy and the guys got ready at a cool rustic cabin!!! It was nice having their own space to hang out and not worry about accidentally seeing Allison! I couldn’t believe it when Phillip told me the guys JUMPED IN THE LAKE, but sure enough – you’ll have to scroll down and see the photo evidence! It was hilarious!!!
Allison was the queen of First Looks! She had one with her bridesmaids, her sweet grandma, her daddy, and THEN Andy and Allison also chose to have a First Look!!! Even though it was 12:45pm harsh light, we got the MOST STUNNING Bride & Groom portraits of them, and they were just GORGEOUS together!!!! I mean WOW!
After a sweet ceremony at church, Andy wins BEST GROOM OF THE YEAR because they had almost EIGHTY (yes, 80!!!) Family Portrait combinations. I think that’s pretty special how close Allison and Andy are to their families. She even said, “Other than our Bride/Groom portraits, those are the next most important thing to me the rest of the day!” Sooooo sweet. Even as the gnats warmed Andy and the sun beat down on him in a tux – he smiled through 80 combinations with the BEST ATTITUDE!!!!!
The reception was beyond beautiful. Allison and I both LOVEEEE the color black, and she did a wonderful job with the design. They had black napkins with gold- rimmed glass chargers and white plates. Those chargers were SO COOL and I definitely wanted to sneak mine home!!! The florals were sooooo full and classic with differing heights and sizes – and filled up the huge reception space perfectly. Allison and Andy treated their guests to a massive buffet, drinks, dancing, cake, a fire pit, and the cutest koozies with their DOGS ON THEM!!!! So cute!!!!
I’m obviously obsessed… so I can’t wait for ya’ll to see my favorites from their beautiful day below too!!! ENJOY!!!!!
Thanks so much to the amazing vendor team!
