Parker & Daniel = Downtown Raleigh Wedding Day!

What a HAPPY wedding day this was! Parker and Daniel decided to do things a little differently, by getting married 2 days earlier in an intimate ceremony & had their wedding day more stress-free with just their friends, family, and a big party!! :)

After a week of rain, we had a BEAUTIFUL weekend for their wedding celebrations – a pretty night for their Welcome Party & a sunny day for their wedding day! It was our first wedding at Haywood Hall, and it was fun to go somewhere new! (Well, technically OLD – it’s actually the oldest home on it’s original foundation in Raleigh!) I love historic homes, so I was in my element.

We kicked off the morning styling & photographing all of Parker’s details, and hanging out with her FUN bridesmaids! They were so easy to be around, so helpful and sweet! What a dream!!! The day went incredibly smoothly, with everything on time! Now that really is a photographer’s dream! Since we were ahead of schedule, the girls were able to have a little dance party in the middle of the dance floor in their PJ’s and it was such a cute moment!! Parker got ready with her mom & cousin Ann Moore, and then had First Looks with her bridesmaids, her daddy, and then finally with Daniel! (An overachiever – who ran 3 miles the morning of their wedding!)

They chose to take ALL their photos pre-party, so we knocked out tons of photos! Then it was time for guests to start arriving. I loved that Parker & Daniel used the cocktail hour to have a private dinner inside the house & spend some quality time together – while their guests stayed outside to mingle! 

The reception was absolutely INCREDIBLE! Florals everywhere, little intimate seating spots sprinkled throughout, gold chandeliers hanging from the clear-tent ceilings, it was SO GORGEOUS!!! Parker set aside some time to walk through before the guests, and just take it all in! Her mom was a big part of dreaming up the design – and Catherine with Events by La Fete did an amazing job implementing and bringing it all to life!

Also… can all band stages be COVERED in florals like that?! Wow, it was soooo special! The reception kicked off with tons of food, a STUNNING cake display (all of those florals are edible!!) and SO MUCH DANCING! Their crowd was the BEST.. and stayed on that dance floor all night! In fact the ONLY reason why they stopped (after begging the band for more more more!) was because of the Raleigh city noise ordinance! 

Oh also – be sure to see the ways their pups were included: custom drink signage and the cutest custom drink stirrers I’ve ever seen! SO PRECIOUS!!!!!

Parker & Daniel spoiled their guests with late night bites, a coffee bar, and TONS of party props: custom trucker hats, colorful wigs, light up glasses & wands – and it was such fun vibes on the dance floor! Bounce Party Band did a great job keeping everyone hype and having fun!

It was truly the best day with the nicest people! We just LOVE their families and they are some of the kindest people!!! I have so many photos I can’t wait to share with ya’ll below – I hope you ENJOY!!!
