Barrett & Jake = Romantic Garden Engagement Session!

Our first session of June was a beautiful one! I was so excited to meet Jake for the first time & see Barrett in person after our zoom meeting a few months ago. Barrett & Jake were so sweet to adjust their work schedules last minute to accommodate starting our session early when the forecast started showing a cloudy night.. and I was so thankful for that! We even had a few pops of sunshine before the evening turned into all clouds – yay! :)

I was SO impressed with their outfit choices! Barrett did an amazing job styling both her outfits (that blue one had sooooo much personality with the pattern & the sleeves!) and Jake totally blew us away with his two formal outfits – especially that light blue jacket! I’m sure it pained a NC State grad to wear light blue (haha) but it looked SO GOOD!!! Barrett also did her own glam which was so impressive – she did such a great job!!! :)

It turned out for the best that we started early, because the crowds started to come out for sessions mid-way through ours – so Jake & Barrett were great sports to pose in front of people & work around all the others!

We enjoyed walking around the gardens with these two – talking about golf, UNC sports, the mountains, work (they are both so smart, motivated, & hard workers!), families & growing up with sisters – and of course wedding planning stuff! It’s hard to believe that we’re already under the year mark from their wedding day. It’s going to be a great one!!! :)
