Amber & Austin = Engagement Session!

After spending so much time during photoshoots & the wedding with the sister (Amber) of our 2021 bride, Ashley, – I was SO excited when Amber reached out to have us photograph HER wedding!!! I had seen Amber & Austin’s engagement post on social media, and was secretly *HOPING* she would contact us! On her sister’s wedding day, Amber had been my right-hand girl, helping me with everything and I just loved her from then on!!! :)

Since Amber & Austin are getting married in just 6 months – we got them on our calendar right away before our fall wedding season gets too crazy!! We were blessed with the most PERFECT DAY – not too hot, no wind, and absolutely gorgeous sunshine the whole session!!! It was seriously a DREAM!!!

Austin & Amber chose Engagement Session locations that are meaningful to them! Austin’s golf course where he’s the Assistant Pro, and also the church where these two met as PRESCHOOLERS! Wow!!! When I arrived to the golf course, it was such a treat & surprise to see Amber’s family: her mom, sister, and brand-new 6 week old nephew was there too! (Their dad even stopped by later too!!!) I just love how close and supportive their family is! Ashley even did Amber’s hair and makeup for her. So sweet!!

It was my first time meeting Austin – and they make such a great couple! They support each other’s dreams, both have hard work ethics, and balance each other out so well! Austin was so patient and helpful during the session – and even pointed out the most PERFECT spot for lighting on the golf course that I just LOVED!

I had the best time exploring around new locations with Austin & Amber – chasing light, listening to country music, and photographing their love!!
