Kaitlyn & Nolan = Fall field Engagement Session!

What a WONDERFUL first session back to work for us after our big Europe trip! We had absolutely perfect weather for Kaitlyn & Nolan’s session – it was 75º and mostly sunny, a slight breeze, and beautiful grounds! Phillip and I were looking forward to meeting Nolan for the first time, and he was so much fun! He kept all of us laughing – and we had so much in common with sports, Laurinburg people we know, and our colleges being rivals! (My dad even coached at Nolan & Kaitlyn’s college St. Andrews for 5 years before moving to coach at Barton College!) Small world! :)

Kaitlyn looked absolutely gorgeous – and went totally outside her comfort zone by getting all glammed up with hair & makeup for the session! She usually doesn’t wear makeup, so it was a big change for her! But she looked so beautiful, and I loved how her eyes popped! She’s so laid back and easy going – and they BOTH were just a dream to photograph! They were laughing and having so much fun being together.

It made ME laugh at one point, because we saw a little golden retriever puppy as we were walking, and at the SAME TIME, Nolan & Phillip both immediately made a bee-line straight over to ask to pet the puppy! It was identical, haha! Kaitlyn & I definitely picked guys with similar personalities and interests! :)

We had the best time with these two, and are so pumped for their wedding next October! I have so many favorite photos to share with you guys below – I hope you ENJOY!
