Claire & J = Beach Engagement Session!

Oak Island Engagement Session | Claire & J | September 26, 2022

The beach is where J told Claire he loved her many years ago, they have spent tons of time enjoying the beach at Oak Island, and Oak Island’s Lighthouse is where J proposed! So it was only fitting that J and Claire chose the beach for their Engagement Session! We loved coming down to a spot that meant so much to them, getting to see Claire’s beautiful family home, meeting Claire’s precious mom Dale, and last but definitely not least – meeting their pup PEARL! :)

We had a beautiful September day for their Session! It wasn’t too hot in the shade, thanks to that ocean breeze – and the sun stayed out for most of their session! The weather had originally forecasted mostly cloudy, so I was beyond thrilled to see the sun shining through the clouds for us!!!

Claire and J are just such amazing people! They immediately made us feel welcome, and Claire started off the session giving ME compliments – wow! Claire and J both did a great job with their outfits (Claire was such a good sport walking through weeds and dirt in Guccis – my kind of girl!) and I just LOVED capturing their fun personalities together. (The ring Claire is wearing on her right hand was her Grandmas!) Miss Pearl was such a good girl – so well mannered and just the cutest thing! She definitely stole the show and wanted to be in the background of lots of mom and dad’s photos – haha!

We finished their session on the beach – and Pearl had the BEST time running all around the beach getting out all of her energy. It was windy, but the soft setting sun was worth it!

Phillip and I had the BEST time exploring all of J and Claire’s meaningful spots, and spending the evening with them! I have a TON of favorite photos to share with ya’ll below, I hope you ENJOY!!! :)
