Beach Engagement Session | Kimberly & Alex | June 22, 2020
First of all, I want to publicly say a big “THANK YOU” to Kimberly for her amazing work on the front lines these last few months. Her unit at Duke Hospital has been the primary COVID-19 unit, and she’s been working 60+ hours a week since! She’s so brave, and Alex has been a HUGE support for her during this time – handling wedding planning when needed, finding them a new house, and keeping the apartment clean/in order while she’s been working extra. It’s pretty awesome they’ve been a TEAM during this pandemic! :)
After 1 reschedule due to COVID, we had the absolute PERFECT day for their Engagement Session!!! The sun was shining for beautiful light, we had a tiny breeze (but not an enormous unflattering beach breeze like you can sometimes have!) and a cotton candy pastel sky to end the evening! Although it felt like the HOTTEST day of 2020 yet, they braved the heat and did amazing!
We had such a good time dodging cars, bikes, skateboarders, and TONS of beachgoers! Would you even guess that the beach was PACKED??!! Both Kimberly and Alex did a great job of tuning out the busyness around us, and focused on each other! Thanks for your patience with all our busy locations, you two! I hope you’ll see how WORTH IT they were below!!!! :)
I hope you’ll enjoy seeing all my favorite images below!!! I hope you’ll be as IN LOVE with them as I already am! <3
