Wedding Day | Sydney + Christian | July 25, 2020
Sydney + Christian’s wedding day was absolutely INCREDIBLE. We had been SO looking forward to their wedding day after having the most amazing Engagement and Bridal Sessions with them! People they DON’T even know were messaging me on social media saying they couldn’t WAIT to see Sydney + Christian’s wedding photos because they are such a beautiful, photogenic couple!!! 🙂 (In case you missed seeing their magical field Engagement Session, click HERE – and if you missed Sydney’s styled-shoot worthy Bridal Session, click HERE!)
Most of all, we were so excited for their wedding day because after photographing Sydney’s sister Taylor’s wedding 4 years ago (see her & Jordan’s beautiful wedding HERE!) we just LOVE being around the whole Jackson family! They are the sweetest people on the planet, and make our jobs so easy.
Sydney started off the day with getting hair done by Melody Raper, (her updo turned out SO gorgeous!) and makeup by Caroline Cale (who gave her the most perfect pink lip color!) and she looked stunning!!! Christian surprised Sydney by getting her favorite starbucks drink delivered, and I was veryyyy impressed by his thoughtfulness!!!!
Sydney’s bridesmaids were family – and they all had a fun morning getting dressed together! We took photos outside as FAST as possible, because it was SO HOT outside. Then, before walking down the aisle the girls prayed over Sydney and her marriage to Christian! It was beautiful.
Christian is so easy to be around! Phillip loved photographing him, but REALLY loved talking golf with him and his groomsmen HAHA!!! The guys looked so dapper in their dark blue suits – and also prayed over Christian right before the ceremony.
The ceremony was beautifully decorated by Dawn Guy with pops of pink – and I love how Christ centered the actual ceremony was.
After the ceremony, we took all their photos outdoors (yes, in the heat again!) but this time the GNATS WERE SWARMING, ya’ll. Sydney and Christian were the BEST sports I’m not even kidding. We had to bat gnats away from their faces, then count to 3 to pose, then bat gnats away again. It was miserable for them I’m sure, but you would NEVER guess it because they posed so effortlessly!!!!
The reception was beyond beautiful – it was outdoors under market lights and hanging hydrangeas. It was so magical in a little outdoor garden surrounded by blooming plants and a pink sunset overhead. Dawn Guy outdid herself with all the floral designs – and it was sooooo perfect!!!
From all the answered prayers, to the amazing vendor team, the beautiful sunshine, the sweetest people, the most stunning bride + groom, and a wonderful wedding day – we feel so grateful and blessed!!!
I hope you’ll LOVE seeing some of my favorites from their wedding day!!! Enjoy!!!
