Private Estate Wedding | Sarah + Tyler | November 11, 2017
So much LAUGHTER, so much JOY, so much LOVE filled Sarah and Tyler’s wedding day!!! There’s nothing we love more than a joyful bride and groom, and boy were we in for a TREAT with the Joyner and Payne families!!!
We started the day at the Joyner estate, photographing all the girls getting ready. There was a big bathroom for all the girls to be in, and laughter filled the hallways as we shot details downstairs. Sarah is so laid back that she and the bridesmaids did her OWN makeup! She was also so easy-going to switch the portrait locations from the church like we originally planned, to the woods by the house. It was so wonderful to have a bride up for anything!
All the bridesmaids were SUPER sweet, and all looked gorgeous in their slate blue dresses. Since the weather turned COLD last minute, all the girls added plaid blanket scarves to their dresses, and looked beautiful. They were great sports posing outside with NO JACKETS ON, and never once complained!!!
The Joyner family was SO PREPARED for the day – from the emergency kit stocked with wisps (travel toothbrushes!) and the church bridal suite stocked with FOOD for all the girls!
After riding to the church in a limo, the bridal party waited for the ceremony to start. The sanctuary was beautifully decorated by Dawn Guy and we loved all the candles and greenery.
The ceremony was personal and sweet, and after they kissed as husband and wife – Tyler and Sarah grinned at each other SO HAPPILY!!!
We photographed all the Bride & Groom portraits at the gorgeous church front, because once again – they were SUPER easy going and didn’t care about going to a second location! This was one of our FAVORITE parts of the day, because Sarah and Tyler’s happiness just RADIATED, and they giggled and smiled their way through portrait time so adorably. LOVED IT!!!!!
The reception was under the stars at the Joyner estate. They brought in heaters table-top fire pits, blankets, and handwarmers for their guests, and tons of hot food. They even had a drink bar of hot chocolate, apple cider, coffee to keep people warm!
You’d NEVER KNOW that it was only 35 DEGREES outside, because all the guests hung around and danced all evening long. After a hilarious garter toss, Tyler and Sarah went through a heart-sparkler exit to the decorated Bentley car waiting for them. It was a perfect end to a LOVELY day!!!
We hope you’ll enjoy all our favorite photos!
