Engagement Session | Samantha + Jeremy | January 21st, 2018
In November, we were photographing Samantha + Jeremy dancing the night away at her sister’s wedding reception. Now, just 2 months later we got the honor of photographing their Engagement Session!!!
Scheduling a session outdoors in January is always a risk – the week BEFORE their session we had SNOW and below freezing temps. Looking ahead a few days, their session was supposed to have THUNDERSTORMS and 25mph winds! We made a last-minute decision to have their session 2 days EARLY to avoid the bad weather. Within 24 hours, Samantha had to buy outfits, get her nails done, and plan.
We were SO excited to photograph Jeremy and Samantha, not just because they’re awesome people – but because they chose really unique and meaningful locations! Samantha owns a GORGEOUS restored house (she & her dad REALLY need to start a house-flipping business!) on 15 acres of land. We got to photograph them on the very property where they’ll start their marriage! So cool!
Samantha looked beautiful, Jeremy looked like a stud & kept her laughing, the light was PERFECT, and the weather was 60 degrees!!!!! We really couldn’t have asked for a more perfect session. We were laughing and having fun the whole time.
The light was fading fast, and we switched to a second location that had a gorgeous tree-lined driveway and old farmhouse. The red barns on the property matched their second outfit really nicely.
We had a BLAST with Jeremy & Samantha, and already can’t wait for their wedding day in April!!! Enjoy seeing a few of our favorite images of these two awesome people!!!
