The week before, we’d discussed rescheduling due to a high rain percentage, and Samantha said let’s just go for it regardless! That risk paid off, and we even had SUNSHINE for most of our session! It was a very windy day though – so her 3 sisters and mom came to the rescue to help me fix the dress, hair, veil, so I could make the most of shooting during non-windy chunks of time! It was a team effort and all the girls made the session so much fun!!! We were all jamming out to Disney songs, and they knew each movie each song was from – it was very impressive!! 🙂

I was looking forward to photographing Sam again – and seeing her whole Bridal look! When I walked into the Bridal Suite to see her, she was just GLOWING! Her Thornbury dress was just so whimsical, romantic, and feminine – with the appliqués and the corset torso – she looked stunning! I also loved how simple she kept her jewelry so the dress could truly shine!! 

Samantha’s talented sister Brooke made her bouquet HERSELF, and it was soooo impressive! I couldn’t believe she designed that. (But then again – she’s the crafty queen that made the pup’s bandanas at last minute for Samantha’s Engagement Session last year – click HERE to see it!) I know how stressful it can be to make your sister’s bouquet (I did that for my sister’s Bridal Session earlier this year too!) so it’s definitely a labor of love!!!

Samantha did an amazing job modeling for her session & being super patient to wait out all the big wind gusts we were dealing with! It wasn’t easy, and she didn’t let the wind bring down her mood! So proud of her!!!
