The Barn at Camp Nellie | Rebecca & Kyle | June 11th, 2016
We’d been looking forward to this wedding SIMPLY for the fact that Rebecca is so dang sweet! We’d never even had the chance to meet Kyle, but after all our time spent with Rebecca at meetings and Bridal Portraits, we loved being around her genuine personality, and sweet spirit.
Their wedding day was a HOT one! I was sweating literally the first few minutes of shooting details – so I knew we were in for a scorcher! Phillip was holding the building’s door open for me, just in hopes that the A/C would drift outdoors to me some.
Both Rebecca and Kyle had small, intimate bridal parties, which made the day simple and less hectic. The girls were so kind to include me all morning, and Phillip got invited to play poker with all the guys! We shot the SHORTEST set of Bridesmaid/Bride photographs that morning, because their hydrangeas literally turned BROWN in the heat within minutes!
I was blown away by the amount of decoration Rebecca & her mom Christi had done to transform a simple space into a gorgeous wedding. I was obsessing over the chandelier and fireplace mantle they used as a backdrop for the ceremony. They really did a beautiful job!
The reception was half indoors, and half outdoors! They had a YUMMY barbeque spread – a perfect southern dinner! After dancing, they had a sparkler exit. Rebecca and Kyle, thank you for picking us to photograph your special day! We think you make a perfect pair. Enjoy this SNEAK PEEK!
