Payton + Shane = WEDDING DAY!

There’s nothing we LOVE more than photographing a JOYFUL bride! From the moment we walked inside to see Payton getting her hair done, she was smiling, laughing, and full of happiness!!

The venue was actually Payton’s grandparents home and property! The Carter and Floars families had SUCH A VISION for this day – from choosing a little wooded nook with super tall trees for the ceremony location, to a long cleared area for the reception tents. The theme was very “fall” – from the colors of burgundy, orange, and yellow to all the fall pumpkins, mums, and rustic elements.

The stunning feature at the ceremony was the “backdrop” made out of different heights of tree logs and tons of candles and lights all over it. So unusual and beautiful! We’ve never seen anything like it before.

Phillip had so much fun photographing all the groomsmen and “talking golf” with them. Shane is really easy-going and made Phillip’s job easy for portrait time! All the guys wore orange ties, and it looked like fall!

The girls were so sweet, and we especially fell in love with the flower girl, Emily. She was SO helpful all day, so cute, and did such a good, thoughtful job with every task she was given! So precious!!! One of the funniest moments of the morning was Payton popping the cork on the champagne bottle! It shot off, and came close to Emily – after the first reaction of shock – everyone laughed so hard!!!!

Even though the day was overcast – we had no worries for rain. It was fun taking our time photographing without checking the radar every 5 seconds. The ceremony was so sweet, and Shane and Payton included a “unity tree” – uniting dirt from both of their childhood home properties into the base of a tree, that they’ll plant together. What a neat idea!!!!

The evening was fun with a sangria bar, dancing, food, and cupcakes!!! Shane and Payton treated their guests to a fun evening, and then went through a tunnel of sparklers to finish out a perfect day!

We hope the newly married Floars are having a BLAST on their honeymoon, and that you enjoy all our favorite images from their wedding day!!!!
