Paige + Josh = Wedding Day!

There’s nothing we love more than photographing two sweet people uniting as one. Paige and Josh are two of the kindest, sweetest, most thoughtful people – and we loved every minute of their wedding day. They chose an intimate wedding with their most treasured friends/family, and put SO MUCH thought and detail into all the décor, food, and gifts to spoil their guests.

It was a gorgeous October day, the sun was shining and no rain in the forecast. We had so much fun photographing Paige’s detail items – from the feminine perfume bottle, to her sparkly heels, to the invitation suite I designed! It was photographer heaven!

As Paige got ready, it was so cute to see her niece, Aubrey, try to “help” Paige put on shoes. Josh gave Paige a letter to read, and a beautiful gold and diamond necklace as a wedding gift. Not only did Paige also give Josh a letter, but a really nice fishing reel as his gift too!

I love photographing the bridesmaids’ wine-colored floor length dresses, and their bouquets by Winnie Matthews were SO PRETTY with all the different colors and textures. The groomsmen looked dapper in their navy blue suits, which looked even bluer in the sunlight! Such a great contrast with the wine colored dresses.

Paige and Josh chose to have a First Look, and it was so nice for them to have a few moments to themselves prior to the ceremony! Their pastor even prayed with them, which was really special. The ceremony space was outdoors, under a pretty arbor that Josh built himself! Once again, Winnie Matthews did a stunning job with decorating the arbor full of flowers! The wooden seats looked so nice with the green background of hedges. I also designed their Programs, so it was fun seeing people use the programs in person!

After a sweet ceremony, we photographed portraits in the most beautiful fall GLOWY sunlight!!! We had so much fun playing with Paige’s long veil and full dress. The reception was full of unique touches – from gold silverware, thank-you notes tucked into each napkin, and even a dessert table with lots of choices of cakes and cheesecakes made by friends/family. The food was also catered by friends/family providing BBQ and all the fixin’s!

Josh and Paige left their reception through a tunnel of sparklers! It was a perfect, joyful way to end a beautiful wedding day! We hope you’ll love seeing all our favorite images below!!
