Farm Bridal Portrait Session | Paige Fields | August 29th, 2017
When I tell ya’ll that Paige is literally THE SWEETEST…I mean it. She always is laughing and smiling, and I always look forward to seeing her!
We were SO honored to shoot on her family property, where she’s lived her whole life. It was really meaningful to see where her roots are, and photograph on the same property that she spent so many years running around.
Paige came out of the house looking RADIANT. Her wedding dress was an ivory color, with a little sparkly belt, and the most gorgeous CUSTOM SLEEVES that looked beautiful with the dress!!!! Paige’s hair was in a really feminine updo, and her makeup was perfect! I loved the diamond dangly earrings Paige wore, and the fact she DIDN’T wear a necklace to take away from the lace neckline.
We had a cloudy day, but were thankful for NO RAIN!!! We’d been worried about the forecast all week, and decided to go with it. (I was even praying for a pop of sunshine!) We still had enough light to photograph at the barn, in the fields, and on the fence, which was great!
Paige had such a fun entourage of her sister Megan, mom Deborah, and 1.5 year old niece, Aubrey! They were really helpful with the dress, bouquet, veil, and getting things we needed (like a change of shoes for Paige when her feet hurt!!!) My mom, Darla, helped me with this session since Phillip was out of state for work, and we had a lot of fun together!
At the end of the session, we went over to a second location for veil shots….and all of a sudden THE SUN STARTED GLOWING!!!! After all day of no sun, it glowed as it set. We were so thankful, and took full advantage of taking as many “glowy” photos as possible!!!
Paige surprised us at the end of the session with a HUGE BOX OF DESSERTS!!!!! I felt so loved on and spoiled by her, and couldn’t BELIEVE that she thought of us on HER special day. Thank you, Paige!!!!!!! They were all amazing!
Here are my favorite images from our session together. Enjoy!
