Natalie’s Bridal Portrait Session | May 16, 2016
When a Bride chooses bright blue shoes for her wedding heels, I KNOW it’s going to be a fun session. Natalie didn’t disappoint. She stepped out of the car and looked absolutely breathtaking! Her all-lace dress fit her perfectly, with a high neckline that was so delicate, and jewelry that was simple and elegant. Natalie also wore a veil that her Grandmother made. Her mom AND sister both wore that veil, and Natalie decided to carry on the tradition.
Natalie told me she wanted a very classic portrait. She envisioned nature as the background, and a very formal pose holding her bouquet. I LOVE traditional poses, and we shoot them for all our Bridals, but I knew I wanted to switch things up and shoot creatively too. Natalie was a sweetheart and rocked EVERY SINGLE POSE I gave her, and she looked natural and gorgeous for each one.
Natalie’s bouquet was so unusual. She had bursts of bright color, mixing flowers and succulents, and all kinds of textures. Even Phillip told me later that he liked Natalie’s bouquet – haha!
We had warm POPS of sunshine, and took advantage of all that happy sun we could. Natalie is such a happy, non-fuss girl, and it suited her perfectly. We LOVED hanging out with Natalie and her parents that evening, and we are so excited to finally share these below! Enjoy!
