Wilson, North Carolina Engagement Session | Michelle & Robbie | February 21, 2017
You know that kind of people that you come away from with a SMILE on your face? Michelle and Robbie are those people. When Phillip and I met them for the first time, we had the best conversations, laughs, and left the meeting feeling KNOWING they were special people.
Michelle and Robbie have a really amazing love story (but you’ll have to wait until their Wedding blog post in May to hear about it!) and we really looked forward to kicking off our 2017 Engagement Season with these two. By the way, Robbie proposed AT THE BILTMORE – which is so romantic – with the prettiest diamond ring.
We photographed their Engagement Session on their OWN property! Robbie and Michelle had SUCH a vision for their home. They took a 1930’s dilapidated farmhouse – seriously caving in, with a roof that water poured into – and made it into the CUTEST most charming home. The kitchen has original “shiplap” on all the walls AND the ceiling, a porcelain farmhouse sink, and REALLY high ceilings in the living areas!
They have 70 acres, and we used a lot of it for their session! We enjoyed shooting on the “fields”, in the woods, in front of different barns, and even used a quilt Michelle’s grandmother made.
It was such a special session because it was so “them”. Phillip and I had so much fun spending time with Robbie and Michelle, chatting and hearing about their renovations. We hope you’ll enjoy their Sneak Peek! Be sure to see the glowy SUNSET photos at the end of the post!
