Boho Farmhouse Wedding | Maggie & Travis | October 17, 2020
Maggie & Travis’s wedding is special for SO many reasons! First of all, they got married on their 5 YEAR anniversary of their first date. (How cute is that?) They also planned their wedding to be at their OWN beautiful home on 7 acres, which they’ve been working so hard on for the last year!!! Longggg before COVID where “at-home” weddings have become more normal – Maggie and Travis had planned on their “farmhouse” being the perfect, sentimental place to start their marriage together! 🙂
We had a PERFECT sunny, crisp fall day for their wedding. Travis had installed a beautiful wooden cross in their front yard near the pond for the ceremony, and seeing the ceremony space with the reception tent was an impressive drive up to their home!
Ever since they bought their house, Maggie dreamt of getting ready next to that beautiful window in their unfinished upstairs. Travis made that dream possible just a few weeks before their wedding, by finishing off that upstairs space with drywall, flooring, paint, and even hung a chandelier! So sweet!
I loved that Maggie included her brother Adam in her Bridal Party, and her Nana as her flowergirl. It was so sweet to see their bond!! One of my favorite parts of their day was Travis & Maggie’s First Look. EVERY girl wants their groom to double over with emotion after seeing you… I mean wow. So precious!!!! But the most special part was when they read their custom, handwritten vows to each other. They were long, personal, and very heartfelt. Maggie and Travis both were emotional as they read to each other. I loved it!!!!
We were able to have TONS of Bride & Groom portraits throughout the day since they opted for a First Look – and they are just GORGEOUS!!! After their beautiful ceremony, we included their precious dog Buddy into some photos (Phillip was SO HAPPY!!!) and then the reception kicked off with a bang thanks to Brad Perkins of Impultz Entertainment!
After a fun night of good food, cake, dancing, speeches, a photobooth, a HILARIOUS garter toss thanks to Travis (dyinggggg of laughter!) they ended the perfect evening with a sparkler exit to an old truck. It was the best way to end a fun day!!!
I hope ya’ll will LOVE seeing all my favorites from Travis & Maggie’s beautiful day below! Enjoy!!! 🙂
