Madison & John = Beach Engagement Session!

It’s so special how this photography business allows us to “follow along” in people’s lives with significant milestones. We photographed Madison’s Senior Photos at the very BEGINNING of our business, and now she and John have chosen us to be their wedding photographers all these years later! It’s such an honor, and so meaningful for us! 🙂

Madison was also a bridesmaid in another TLJ Bride’s wedding a few years ago (see Tyler’s beautiful Leaning Tree wedding HERE!) so we’re PUMPED that it’s finally Madison’s turn as the bride!

Phillip was excited for this session because not only was he glad to see Madison & John – but because they were bringing both their Golden Retrievers! Phillip used to be SO distracted in Sunday School at church when Madison would bring a dog she was training… and their session was no different! Phillip was in HEAVEN being on doggy duty! (Also a huge shoutout to the OTHER Madison for coming to the session and helping with the pups! These photos of the pups looking are a big thanks to you!)

When we left Wilson, the skies were gray and super DARK, and even raining! Thankfully when we got to the beach, the SUN popped out for a bit, we had beautiful temperatures, and at the end of the night the ocean was misting across the sand in the most MAGICAL way!!! Those photos are so soft and beautiful, I just LOVE them!!!

It was the BEST afternoon with this sweet couple (and the pups!) They are both super laid-back and easy going – up for anything I asked of them! I love how John makes Madison laugh, and will randomly kiss her and spin her around with the biggest smile on his face!!! I think they make a great match, and we’re already excited for their December wedding at the Firehouse in Goldsboro 🙂
