Laura Beth + Gilliam = WEDDING DAY!

What a perfect day for a wedding! The sun was shining, the weather wasn’t too hot, and we were jamming out to Earth Wind & Fire’s “September” song as we drove to Clinton, NC for Laura Beth & Gilliam’s wedding day! 🙂

When we arrived, all the girls were busy getting glammed up (and I was super excited to already know half the bridesmaids from other weddings, including one was a former TLJ Bride!!!) and the guys were at The Ashford Inn hanging out and getting ready.

Laura Beth looked so beautiful in her lace strapless gown, and I loved hearing the stories about each piece of heirloom jewelry she wore! The veil has been in the Wood family for over 60 years, and more than 30 girls have worn it on their wedding days! Also, the lace Meredith College garter has been passed down through Laura Beth’s friends, at least 5 girls have worn it already, with 5 more to go! How cool is that?! The bridesmaids looked stunning too, I really loved the unique cut and color of the bridesmaids dresses that LB and her sister Dorothy chose!!!

The ceremony was held in Laura Beth’s home church, and I loved the accents of florals they added to the altar and cross area! It was a beautiful ceremony, and Laura Beth AND Gilliam had some sweet moments together afterwards.

We arrived at their reception, and it was ROCKING already thanks to the EnVision Band! Laura Beth and Gilliam treated their guests to food, cake, drinks, and dancing all night. I loved watching all the swing dancing, and seeing everyone have such a great time. The band even played the “September” song, and I saw Gilliam rush over to take Laura Beth’s hand and pull her onto the dance floor to dance together!!! So cute! At the end of the night, Gilliam and Laura Beth went through a sparkler exit to their car that took them away!!!
