Bridal Portrait Session | Kristin | Wilson, North Carolina | April 19th, 2017
Kristin envisioned a “woodsy” enchanted theme for her Bridal Portrait Session. I can’t TELL you how many “woods” I stalked around town, and we finally settled on the perfect one with tall pine trees, that felt mountainous.
When Kristin stepped out of the car, I literally had tears burning my contacts. She looked BREATHTAKING!!!!!!! Her makeup accentuated her beautiful eyes and brows, (thanks, Caroline Sharpe!) her hair was a loose up-do that was set off by some flowers in her hair. (Thanks for the up-do magic, Melody Raper!) Kristin chose rose gold pointy flats as her shoe, and they matched her dainty drop earrings. You’ll OBSESS over her dress, it had the most delicate scalloped lace, and I LOVED how flowy the bottom of the gown was.
With the loose bouquet (designed by Wilson Flowers & Market) Kristin literally looked like a fairy princess dropped into an enchanted forest. Everything came together perfectly.
The morning of our Bridal Session was DARK, STORMY, and really depressing. We kept watching the weather, praying for a beautiful day since Kristin & Jordan had a cloudy day for Engagements. We were blessed with a clear afternoon for Bridals, and the sun even peeked out for a few minutes!!! (Not until we finished & were driving off, did the rain sprinkles start! Thank you, God!!)
We had Becca (Kristin’s cousin) helping us with the dress & props (and kept us laughing) during the session, and Kristin’s parents were both able to come watch. Her dad was so kind, helping us carry our chair, reflector, and even the bouquet! Her mom was as sweet as could be, and teared up when she first saw Kristin.
The whole session was simply MAGICAL, and it’s unlike anything we’ve ever photographed. It did seem straight from a fairytale. Kristin is such a classic, beautiful bride, and I can’t WAIT for you to scroll down and see our favorites below!!!
