Meredith College Bridal Portrait Session | Katie Shytle | July 12th , 2017
When Katie told me she wanted a very classic, timeless Bridal Portrait Session, I was EXCITED already. My favorite types of sessions are the ones that capture the really Southern traditional “portrait” and then change things up with a little creatice posing.
Katie stepped out of the car looking GORGEOUS. Her hair and makeup had been done since 10:00am that morning, and after driving between hair, makeup, and florist appointments, and THEN several hours to our session location – everything was perfectly intact and she looked stunning.
The second Katie put on her wedding dress, I knew exactly why she wanted a classic session. Her gown was EVERYTHING a timeless dress should be: very simple without any distractions, very full (but not in a stiff tulle way) and little buttons ALL THE WAY DOWN her longgggg train. Simply put, that dress will always be in style. I LOVED IT!!!!
We had a 95 degree day, for an OUTSIDE session. Katie was a champ and did an amazing job of walking around campus and didn’t even look sweaty from doing it! WE had a HUGE helping crew thanks to her mom Evelyn, her mother in law Arletta, and her friends Alexis and Whitley. They did everything from carry the dress & bouquet (and even my gear!), to even fanning Katie in attempts to keep her cool. THANK YOU ladies for all your help!
I had SUCH an amazing evening photographing Katie. She’s beautiful inside and out, and made my job really easy with her good looks and sweet personality. I’m super excited to share a few of our favorites!!!
