MayLew Farm Bridal Session | Holly Walker | September 13, 2017
On the way to MayLew Farm, I was thinking that Holly could step out in literally a burlap SACK and still look GORGEOUS for her Bridal Portrait Session. Since Holly also has a side of her that loves fishing and hunting, I wondered what type of wedding dress would she choose? Simple and classic, or soft and feminine?
Holly stepped out of the house in a GORGEOUS champagne-colored gown with intricate lace, scalloped edges, tiered lace layers in the back, and buttons and rhinestones down the back as well. She looked STUNNING, and allowed the dress to shine by wearing minimal jewelry of just her engagement ring and a tiny, beautiful necklace that was a graduation present from her parents. It was PERFECT. Her shoes were blingy, with a chunky heel that made for easier walking.
We had a lovely day that wasn’t too hot, and we had SUNSHINE that made for the perfect glowy photos on the farm. Holly and her entourage of her mom and sister (Sandra and Samantha) walked around with us taking advantage of all the barns, silos, fencing, and house that we could. My mom (Darla) assisted me, and helped keep away all the gnats.
Holly made my job SO EASY with her beauty, easy-going attitude of being up for anything I asked of her. Her bouquet was a perfect pop of color, and the looseness of it was a nice match for the rustic backgrounds we used.
It was sooooooo hard narrowing down my favorites, but now that Holly is MARRIED, enjoy seeing a few of my personal faves from our session together!
