Ya’ll…this wedding was an absolute PARTY. Emily and Rusty threw such an amazing wedding, and spoiled their guests with the best venue, food, music, drinks, and FUN! The reception was literally SIX HOURS of people having a blast, and when the DJ announced their exit…guests literally booed! This crowd would have partied Emily and Rusty all night! 🙂
Emily and Rusty opted out of having Bridal Parties…so the morning was focused on them. At the ceremony when Rusty first glimpsed his beautiful bride…he started tearing up and Emily was beaming and waving at him. It was so precious. They had a unique portion of the ceremony where they put letters to one another in a box, and sealed it until their 5-year anniversary to finally open and read. I thought it was SUCH a wonderful idea, and they’ll really cherish those letters and those memories in 5 years.
The guests were treated to cocktails, a photo booth, and corn hole while we shot Family Portraits and Bride/Groom Portraits. Emily and Rusty were so easy to shoot, and even though Rusty is scared of heights, they climbed a fire escape to get really awesome photographs.
Once we got to the reception to shoot details…I WAS OBSESSED with the table decor and settings. All the farm tables were filled with flowers, glasses, chargers, plates, and culminated in the most gorgeous colors and textures. I think I took a hundred photos of just the settings. Literally, a GORGEOUS job by the staff. I wanted to take the china plates home with me and eat a cupcake on it.
The crowd on the dance floor was so crazy fun, and glow sticks were handed out halfway through the night. We love watching people have a blast, and their reception was no exception 🙂 After a sparkler exit, Emily and Rusty exited the party in a rickshaw, complete with clanging cans hanging behind it (Emily MADE them, from an idea on Pinterest!)
Emily and Rusty, we LOVED shooting your wedding day. Ya’ll were so laid back, fun, and made our job stress-free and easy. We hope you all enjoy this Sneak Peek into their awesome day!
P.S. The cookie dough cupcakes were half the size of my FACE! YUM.
