Courtney + David = WEDDING DAY!

After almost a DECADE of dating, Courtney and David got MARRIED on Saturday!!! Their love story is so special, after meeting at CCS, going to countless proms together, being best friends and fishing partners, to building their life together after school as adults. We are SO HAPPY for them as they start their life as husband+wife!!!

We were so honored when they chose us as their wedding photographers… especially since Courtney’s sister Jenna had hired us for her wedding years ago. Jenna & Landon’s wedding was just the 16th wedding we’d photographed, and Courtney+David’s was now our 90th wedding!!!! Wow!!!

It was a gorgeous sunny day for a wedding. The girls got hair/makeup done at Bardot in downtown Washington, and it was a fun, quirky spot to start the day. One of my favorite parts of the morning was Courtney opening her letter from David. Not only did he surprise her with a whole SET of Tacori jewelry, but he’d written her a sweet letter that had her in tears, to laughter, and back to years. It was SO special!!!!

They had an outdoor ceremony under Fox Hollow’s gazebo. It was so cute seeing Courtney’s niece Raylynn walk down the aisle throwing rose petals!!! After the ceremony, Phillip found a magical little field with glowy light that made for some really gorgeous bride and groom photos!

The ceremony kicked off with lots of good food by Scarborough Fare, drinks, sweet toasts, cake, and guests having a blast on the dance floor!!! All the guests from the very youngest to the oldest were dancing, and it was so fun to watch.

Courtney and David went through a tunnel of sparklers as their exit, and it was a perfect way to end the evening!
