Marbles Kids Museum | Colleen & Ian | August 13, 2016
If you’re a kid at heart, having a wedding at Marbles Kids Museum is THE VENUE for you! Colleen and Ian incorporated as much fun, silliness, and bright colors into their wedding day as possible. I think Colleen never stopped laughing the entire day…and Ian was up for all the craziness and fun Colleen came up with.
The girls arrived less than an HOUR before Colleen was supposed to walk down the aisle. It was actually a fun change from the normal timeline, because there wasn’t even time for nerves to start happening! Colleen’s group of girls were really fun, easy-going, and kept the mood light with photo-bombing each other’s selfies.
Yall….their wedding day was HOT. So hot, that Ian was smart enough to bring SEVERAL changes of white dress shirts. Brilliant. (Maybe he’s used to the heat, because he’s a fireman.) To have a little of “Ian” in the day, they had an antique firetruck brought to the church for bridal party photographs. It was seriously the coolest firetruck I’d ever seen!
Ian and Colleen’s reception was at Marbles…and they took full advantage of all the cool props and sets for their photographs. Once again, the guys posed on a Firetruck (a fake one this time) and we went around shooting at all Colleen & Ian’s favorite places. I’m PRETTY sure our nieces and nephews were jealous of us that day!
After a fun evening of dancing, great toasts (Colleen’s sister Brianne even RAPPED her toast to “Prince of Bel Air” and it was fantastic) cake cutting, and food…they left through a tunnel of sparklers. It was a colorful end to a colorful day! We hope you enjoy this little peek into our day together!
