Ashlyn & Thomas = Wedding Day!

We’re not sure how we got blessed enough to shoot TWO of the sweetest, kindest couples within 24 hours of each other, but we’re sure thankful for that! Ashlyn and Thomas’ wedding day was such a happy affair, and we were so incredibly honored to have been able to witness their love.

Not many bridal parties would agree to pose in the light RAIN, but both the guys and the girls posed WHILE IT WAS RAINING, with no umbrellas, and we were able to have pretty outdoor photographs. Because of their easy-going attitudes and willingness to trust our vision, it made the day go smoothly!

At their ceremony, Thomas and Ashlyn had the CUTEST flowergirls and ringbearer walk down the aisle holding hands. SO adorable! Ashlyn’s 3 sisters sang a song, which I thought was so special. At the end of the service, Ashlyn and Thomas handed roses to both mothers, as a sweet gesture.

Bennett Bunn allowed us plenty of natural space to shoot formal photographs, and even though I thought it was about to POUR on us during Family Portraits, the SUN peeked out JUST as we were starting Bride and Groom portraits! I was SO thankful and excited!!

Ashlyn and Thomas look at each other in such a way that they tune out the world and only see the other person. It’s such a beautiful gaze – I felt as if I was interrupting sweet, private moments. I LOVE the way Ashlyn smiles at Thomas, and makes him grin as the 7^th grade boy who had a crush on her way back when.

After hearing many toasts from family and friends, we realized what a GEM of a couple we really had. Their kind souls and sweet spirits are so rare, and we LOVED shooting their wedding day. We hope you all enjoy their SNEAK PEEK!
