Ashley & David = Engagement Session!

Engagement Session // 2015

My whole life I’ve prided myself on NEVER being late. Like, EVER. I liked being that dependable person, who everyone can count on – and I know my clients always appreciate my timeliness too. BUT I have to tell on myself….I was LATE, like an embarrassing amount of time late to Ashley and David’s Engagement Session. I had looked up the wrong mileage on Mapquest, and thought the driving distance was a lot shorter than it actually was!!! We choose our Session starting times based on the sunlight, and had it timed exactly right for the clothing and location changes. I messed it all up….but thankfully we have THE BEST CLIENTS, and Ashley & David were super sweet and understanding of my complete screw up. SO EMBARRASSING.

On to the GREAT parts of the session….we had perfect weather and awesome locations to shoot at. Ashley had her hair, nails, and makeup professionally done (which I always recommend!) and her ring had just been cleaned so it was EXTRA sparkly. When David wore a blazer with elbow patches, and Ashley added a hat – I literally broke out into a little happy dance because their outfits were PERFECT! I love adding a little “formalness” to an Engagement Session!!!

For the very FIRST pose, David whispered something silly in Ashley’s ear, and make her laugh so hard she almost cried. That’s when I knew that this session was going to ROCK. David’s personality during the shoot was SO easy going and Ashley posed so naturally, and really embraced her romantic side when posing. They had FOUR outfit changes, and David never complained or got impatient (AMAZING, guys!)….we truly had a GREAT time with these two!!!

We can’t WAIT for their wedding next year…and I PROMISE we won’t be late EVER, EVER AGAIN 🙂
