Angela & Cameron = Maternity Session

What a highlight of my career to have the honor of photographing my little sister’s Maternity Session!!! I’ve photographed Angela from day one when she modeled for my college photography class projects, and we both had a laugh reminiscing at how far I’ve come since those days! 🙂

Angela had a very specific vision for her Maternity Session, and always dreamed of having a super unique look with The Firehouse as the backdrop! Thankfully, The Firehouse had availability during this busy season, and truly gave Angela the Maternity Session of her DREAMS with all their unique vibes and cool locations for us to play with!

Would you guess that Angela is 8 months pregnant in these photos? I was getting worried we were taking our chances with waiting so long to photograph, but it turned out perfectly!!!

Our mom came along to help, and the three of us had the BEST time being creative, seeing Angela looking absolutely RADIANT – it was really special.

Angela’s husband Cameron can’t take off work easily, so all along we had planned on shooting just Angela! But a few hours before the session, I just texted Cameron asking if he had any free time to drive the 1 hour+ round trip to just pop in for a few photos! He said probably not, but he’d try! So just in case, I grabbed some of Phillip’s shirts & pants, and packed them!

All of a sudden halfway through our session, there was a knock at the door – it was Cameron!!! I had no idea he had decided to come! He could only stay 10 minutes before going back to Wilson to coach, so we quickly grabbed a few photos of them together! It was so special that he made such an effort to drive ALL that way, to only spend 10 minutes with us!!!

What a unique, creative, magical session this is! So surreal that my little sister will be a mom in just 1 month. I can’t wait to be Aunt TT again (and for the 1st time on my side of the family!) and meet this precious little one. Thank you Angela & Cameron for giving me this honor of photographing you!!!
