Amber Godwin | Bridal Portrait Session | August 31st, 2016
This beauty is one of my most laid-back brides. When I arrived and Amber was literally putting on her dress in the PARKING LOT, just laughing away, I KNEW it was going to be a fun session. Amber is so easy to be around, and was up for anything I asked of her. She had no demands, wasn’t picky, and looked beautiful!!!
I was so thankful for her mom, JoAnn, and her MOH Stephanie. Since Phillip was out of state for work, these two ladies helped carry around all our “stuff”, fanned Amber when it got unbearably hot, helped with the dress train, and even helped “block hot spots” for me! I was able to focus on shooting, and it was so kind of them to help!
All three of us “spectators” realized at the same moment that Amber has “a look” that is GORGEOUS – that’s her profile! When she turned her head, her hair showed off and her cheekbones were prominent….all of us gasped! I’m pretty sure I said, “OH MY GOSH! AMBER! DON’T MOVE!” hahaha…it was perfect for her!
Amber’s dress had a mixture of lace AND sparkle, and she paired that classic look with southern traditional pearl jewelry. Her Jack Rogers were gray and sparkly, for easy walking. I LOVED how her up-do showed off the highlights AND lowlights in her hair, it was truly stunning. Her veil is actually borrowed, even though it matches perfectly! Amber even did her OWN French tip nails AND her own makeup. Jealous now??
I truly loved spending this evening laughing with her entourage and photographing Amber. I hope you enjoy this Sneak Peek of our summertime session together!
Great pictures of a beautiful bride!
