Amanda + John = Rose Hill Plantation Wedding Day!

When a couple books their wedding day around OUR availability, it’s the biggest honor and compliment! But it also means I feel a HUGE amount of pressure to make their day EXTRA EXTRA perfect!!! After John + Amanda’s sweet Engagement Session (click HERE if you missed it!) and her joyful Bridal Session (click HERE to see it!) we’d been REALLY looking forward to their wedding day!! And WOW, it didn’t disappoint. The amount of thought that went into EVERY SINGLE DETAIL to make their wedding over the top – from the invitation suite with a custom illustration of Rose Hill, to an overflowing arbor of florals at the ceremony & reception, it was INCREDIBLE!!

Who would ever guess that Amanda & John’s wedding day had a constant rain all day long? From the smiles on everyone’s faces and the absolute love and joy radiated by John, Amanda, their precious families, and their awesome bridal party I bet you won’t even guess when looking through these photos!!!!

So many brides would understandably be torn to pieces to have a rainy wedding day, but Amanda trusted all the vendors completely to still give her the fairytale wedding day regardless of the weather! She was a GREAT sport to pose in the rain for photos, walk in Badgley Mischka heels through the soggy grass, and trust our visions.

One of my favorite parts of the day was when John and Amanda had their First Look. When John glimpsed his beautiful bride, he embraced her with tears flowing down his cheeks. They held each other, and savored the precious moment, in each others arms. Then, Amanda gifted him a journal of letters to John that she’d started when they started dating years ago… how amazing of a gift!

I loved every single aspect of the design Amanda chose – her amazing florals, the dusty blue and navy colors, the ceremony layout, the FUNFETTI wedding cake… everything was perfection.

I could write 24387 more paragraphs about how absolutely gorgeous the day was, how sweet everyone was to us, how many precious moments there were, and how much we LOVE John and Amanda, but I’ll just let the photographs below do all my talking.

P.S. We had SIX TLJ couples in total at their wedding!!!! How amazing is that?! We loved catching up with everyone, and checking out their dance moves too!
