The Oaks at Salem | Bridal Portrait Session | Allison Nixon | October 17th, 2017
I’m always curious to see the style of a December bride. Allison LOVES Christmas more than anything else (well, except for Trent and cows) and I couldn’t wait to see how she’d incorporate her love of Christmas into her Bridal Session.
Allison walked out in a STUNNING form-fitting wedding gown that had SUCH intricate details! From all the little buttons going down the see-through back, to the lace sleeves, to the scalloped edges of her dress. She looked breathtaking!!! Allison snuck a little “country” into her session, with cowgirl boots as her shoe of choice (see, she even snuck a “cow” into the session too – haha!) I LOVED her teardrop diamond earrings, and her veil even had some sparkle.
Allison’s best friend Laurie not only did Allison’s makeup, but she also MADE the bouquet!! That’s where the “Christmas” was for Allison – her bouquet had the red holly balls, and greenery that felt just like the holidays!!!
We had so much fun walking around with Mama, Mrs. BJ, and Laurie. They helped so much with carrying the veil, bouquet, and Laurie helped fluff and give creative ideas too!!!
Allison is so sweet, easy-going, and a super hard worker. We really admire her and Trent for their work ethics and their maturity as a couple! We are SOOOOO happy that they’re now married! Enjoy seeing our favorite portraits of Allison!!!
