We had been looking forward to Allison & Logan’s wedding day for a while now! They are such a sweet couple, we just knew it would be an incredible day! 🙂 Hurricane Helene hit NC the day before – but we were blessed with sunny skies the WHOLE day! It was such a blessing, especially after how much rain and damage our state had gotten the day before.

We started off with photographing their beautiful details (I had the honor of designing their invitation suite!) and meeting all of Allison’s sweet bridesmaids while they were getting glammed! A fun connection – the makeup artist is our TLJ Bride, Caroline Stevens, who we’ve photographed everything from Engagement to Newborn Sessions for! She did an amazing job on the makeup!

Allison was just a JOY to photograph all day. She’s so laid back and easy to please – and all of her girls were incredibly sweet and helpful! It couldn’t have been a better morning with all of them! Allison had a sweet first look with her Dad, Robert, at the beautiful staircase. Then, Logan & Allison had a First Look and his reaction was soooo precious!

We photographed lots of their Bride & Groom portraits pre-ceremony – and they were soooooo patient with the wind and fixing the veil and dress because of the wind. It was worth it because we got so many stunning portraits!!

The ceremony was really special in front of the pond! Our pastor, Aaron Pierce, did a great job officiating. Since we’d photographed most of the photos pre-ceremony, they were able to take a second set of Bride & Groom portraits – and joined their cocktail hour for 30 minutes!

The reception kicked off with delicious food by Cook Shack, a whole table of sweets from Around the Table (including a layer of funfetti cake!) guest watercolor portraits being painted by Studio Tails, and lots of music! It was the perfect night to be outside sitting on the lounges, or playing corn hole under the market lights!

Allison & Logan left through a tunnel of bubbles into her dad’s Model T (that her parents actually had as their getaway car for THEIR wedding day!)

It was the perfect day for the most deserving couple! We had the best day with them & their sweet friends and family!! I have lots of photos to share with ya’ll, I hope you enjoy!!!
