Maternity Session // November 17, 2015
How in the WORLD did all three of us go to Barton College and I not know these sweet people?! (Phillip is totally blah for being a Mountaineer and Seahawk, but that’s another story) I knew of Greg, but never had met Leslie – and really, Barton’s only SO big. I totally missed out on these friendships!
First of all, Leslie and Greg were amazing to agree to a SUNRISE Maternity Session an hour away from home! Thankfully, it paid off because we were blessed with the most gorgeous sunshine and pretty weather – and we had some privacy since we finished their session right as a bunch more photography groups arrived.
This shoot was a DREAM COME TRUE because I’ve been DYING for one of my clients to be brave enough to wear a floral crown for a session for a long time. Not only did Leslie rock the full-on floral crown, but she was willing to climb through weeds (and thorns!!!!) to get the most MAGICAL shots off the beaten path. She looked absolutely stunning in a delicate navy lace dress that was simple enough to not detract from the florals and her baby bump. THANK YOU Leslie for making this photographer so giddy 🙂
Greg was so wonderful to carry around our stuff, and wait patiently for his turn in front of the camera, hehe. They really lit up as they talked about becoming parents – the nursery, his name, their families, the anticipation, and all the showers they’ve been able to have from friends and family! (They picked SUCH a stud name, by the way – we love it!)
We really had a great time with Greg and Leslie, and know they’ll be fantastic parents and they already love that little boy with all their hearts. We’re so excited for you two! Enjoy this Sneak Peek into their Maternity Session! 🙂
