Erin + Reid = Wedding Day!

The Fair Barn  |   The Village Chapel   |   Pinehurst, NC   |   July 23rd, 2016

To say that I’d been looking forward to this wedding would be an understatement! Ever since we met over froyo and Erin described her color scheme, her reception florals, the venues, and her vision for the day, I was pumped! They didn’t disappoint, Erin & Reid’s wedding day was perfection.

Erin’s sweet Dad brought us all the detail items at the Fair Barn, and we started the day shooting some of the PRETTIEST details ever. (Don’t miss Erin’s rings…I mean HONESTLY you guys!) When I arrived at the hotel suite to meet all the girls, there was a dance party going on, champagne popping, laughter, and the cutest flowered rompers on all the bridesmaids. It was a happy, fast morning as the girls got ready!

Phillip had a good time with the guys. Reid had a crazy fun group of guys, and it kept the morning entertaining! Especially when it was a big bridal party of 12 guys total!

Remember how Erin’s Bridal Session had a surprise torrential downpour of rain, AND their Engagement Session got rained on too? Well, as we were shooting Erin’s formal portraits with her bridesmaids pre-ceremony, it started raining on us AGAIN! Phillip joked that Erin & Reid were going for the trifecta of rain sessions, haha!

After a sweet ceremony (with THE best soloist we’ve ever heard at a wedding!!!) Erin and Reid left the chapel through a tunnel of ribbon wands to their getaway car. Erin is so crafty, and so many of her personal touches were everywhere!

Let’s pause for a moment while I applaud Erin & Reid for posing through HOT bride & groom portraits as if they were professional models. Would you even guess that temperatures were soaring and they were sweating like crazy? Reid and Erin made my job SO easy, taking their portraits was so. much. fun.

At the reception, Erin’s vision of white & gold and over-the-top flowers came to life. The Fair Barn was filled with magazine-worthy farmtables, tall centerpieces, shimmering gold tablecloths, and magnolia leaf tablecards. SO GORGEOUS. Erin did a wonderful job with her designs, and Brady’s Florist did a beautiful job creating her vision.

It turned into a party FAST, and Erin & Reid’s friends PACKED the dance floor ALL NIGHT LONG. They were a fun crowd and it was an awesome evening! Erin held her own in the middle of the dance floor and “taught” everyone how to dougie! 🙂

We LOVED being a part of Erin & Reid’s amazing wedding day. We hope you love the photographs of this beautiful summer wedding!
