Corri = Bridal Portraits!

Bridal Session  //  September 27th, 2015

Oh my goodness ya’ll, Corri got out of the car for her portrait session and looked absolutely breathtaking. Her dress was an intricate thick lace – almost an appliqué look and at the bottom it was scalloped beautifully. Corri had a long veil, and underneath her up-do was in elegant swirls with a tiny bit of baby’s breath tucked in. GORGEOUS. Her spunky side was demonstrated with custom-dyed “Carolina Blue” high heels with a line of pearls down the back of the heels. Such a fun idea!

Right from the start, Corri let me know she was a little nervous about posing – but that was ridiculous because she posed like a real model – turning her head to the side and changing expressions within the same pose like a natural. Seriously, she was a photographer’s dream. Her best friend Katie and her Mom, Terri helped us with all the dress fixing and Katie kept Corri laughing even if she was trying to do a “straight face.” Loved it!

It was our first time shooting Bridals at this location, and Corri was totally up for using ALL the unique spots we could find! Both Phillip and I were having such a blast shooting her, and could already tell that we LOVED the shots we were getting, so we made a bet. If Corri chose one of my photographs for her Portrait, I got froyo. If Corri chose one of Phillip’s, I had to take him out for steak.

Phillip won.
I owe him a steak dinner for the gorgeous sun-streaming shot she chose.

Enjoy these photos of Corri’s Bridal Portrait Session – and we can’t WAIT to share a Sneak Peek from Corri and Steve’s crazy super fun-filled wedding day! 🙂
